The art club is crafting felt Halloween themed decorations for the Trick-or-Treat street event at our campus this year. We’ll be meeting at Kay Carol Gallery & Priscila Working Art Studio, 364 Main St. (two doors north of The Muse) this Saturday Oct. 18th, from 12p to 3p to craft. All crafting materials will be provided as well as COOKIES and TEA! Bring your Halloween spirit and creativity!
In previous years the mall provided a safe place to trick-or-treat for our community’s elementary students. This year the Student Government Association is organizing the event to take place on BCC campus! We need help decorating and manning booths at the event! If there is any interest please contact Ariella!

A new semester is beginning, and The KCP Gallery at 364 Main Street in Longmont is hosting a month long exhibition of art from FRCC Art Club Members in September 2014.
FRCC students and faculty members of the Art Club will be the Featured Artists of the month, and can fill three walls in the gallery.
There will be a reception on the 2nd Friday of the month, and these receptions so far have been very well attended and received. Artwork is needed by August 31.
The gallery can be an ongoing consignment opportunity for artists as well .Contact Sarajane Helm to review your work at firstname.lastname@example.org
Ride the bus!
Its free!!!! The RTD has a grant in place to cover the fares on public transport from today through December in Longmont CO. They want to know if people would ride more often if it were not, say, a choice between eating breakfast that day or spending $5 to get back and forth from school/work. So please, tell your friends, and take a around town. Come on the bus to downtown Longmont, enjoy the creativity we’ve got going here–stop in and see us at KCP Gallery at 364 Main Street!
