Catherine is influenced by the natural and urban worlds, and often reflects on Modernism and the importance of the individual mark. Her work reflects the belief that art is a timeless, wordless communication; beautiful, and emotive. The origin of her work lies in personal imaginative story, abstraction, and a love for materials. Her art holds enigmatic narrative, honors the beauty of this earth, and human spirit.

Many art museums and galleries have featured her artwork including: The Overture Center formerly known as The Madison Wisconsin Art Center; Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art (FCMOCA); University of Wisconsin; LA Artcore, Los Angeles, CA; University of Wyoming; Ucross Foundation; University of New Mexico; The Longmont Museum and Cultural Center; Kirkland Museum and Steinbaum Krause Gallery in NYC, to name a few from her resume. She exhibits her work in Denver at Next Gallery, Maryland Federation of Art Circle Gallery in Annapolis, Maryland and formerly at SPARK Gallery. Catherine is an active member of Boulder County’s and Denver’s art communities.

Catherine says of her work: “Art has been the anchor and the force behind my life for as long as I can remember. Making art, seeing art, living with art are essential to who I am. Sharing what I do, and teaching others to enjoy art is so important.”
